Kanwaljit Chouhan

Dr. Chouhan completed her medical education in India at the NHL Municipal Medical College. She accepted an Internal Medicine Residency position at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Chouhan went on to complete two fellowships at Tulane Universityin in Nephrology and Transplant Nephrology. She is one of three women in Des Moines to be Transplant Certified in Nephrology. Dr. Chouhan is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Nephrology. She is certified by the American Society of Transplantation. Dr. Chouhan is fluent in English, Hindi, Punjabi, Guajarati, and Urdu.
