Patients recovering from a heart attack, heart bypass surgery, heart valve repair, heart stents or congestive heart failure are eligible for Cardiac Rehabilitation (CR). CR programs encourage patients to learn about their heart disease, become active again, and prevent further heart damage. Our programs consist of exercise and education. A registered dietitian and pharmacist are available for questions about nutrition and heart medications.

Meet 3 times per week for approximately 1 hour. Blood pressure, heart rate, heart rhythm, and oxygen levels are checked before during and after each session.
REQUIREMENTS
A physician order is required. Evaluation and history are completed at the first session. Depression screen and dietary survey are also done at the initial session and upon completion of CR.
